In 2017, shortly after becoming a licensed cosmetologist, our founder was asked a simple question by her sister: “What are you going to do now?” She shared that she planned to work in someone else’s salon. Her sister asked again: “And then what?” That question planted a seed. She began researching natural ingredients, oils, herbs, and traditional remedies to create a formula designed to nourish the scalp and support healthy-looking hair. But fear made her hesitate. The formula stayed saved in her phone for years. Looking back, she realized God wasn't saying “no.” He was saying, “not yet.”

A FORMULA BORN FROM PURPOSE

Years later, when her own hair began falling out, she remembered the formula she had created. Instead of buying another product that promised results, she decided to finally trust the gift God had placed in her hands. That decision became the beginning of Lavish Lengths Growth Serum.

ROOTED IN AUTHENTICITY

Her husband, who was born and raised in Jamaica, soon became an important part of the journey. While searching for authentic Jamaican Black Castor Oil, they discovered that many products marketed as Jamaican Black Castor Oil were not actually produced in Jamaica. They wanted to do things differently. They invested in their own oil press and sent it to Jamaica, where family members hand-select castor beans and press authentic Jamaican Black Castor Oil. That oil is then combined with carefully selected nourishing oils and botanicals to create the formula behind Lavish Lengths Growth Serum. Every bottle represents authenticity, quality, intention, and purpose.

Before Lavish Lengths was ever introduced to customers, it was used within our own family. Our founder uses Lavish Lengths on her own hair and her children's hair because she believes the people she loves deserve the very best.
